Fashionable indoor plants for the living room: five options

The most popular decoration of the living room interior was and remains fresh flowers in vases and indoor plants in pots. With their help, the room can be made nobler, more comfortable and much more lively. Flowers are combined with all stylish trends in interior design. They are appropriate to use both in a simple rustic living room and in classic and palace settings. This decor can be combined with any finishing materials and other accessories. But when decorating an interior, it is worth knowing which flowers are best suited for a particular style. We have collected some useful tips for you to help you choose a living decoration for your home.

A bright blooming Decembrist is the most unpretentious and beautiful houseplant

Shelf on the wall

The best helpers in organizing a home greenhouse are narrow hanging shelves. You can place indoor plants on them on any free section of the wall - such an eco-friendly decor is now in trend. For example, you can decorate with flowers the wall above the head of the bed in the bedroom - an atmosphere of peace and harmony will reign in the room, and there will be no overwhelming effect.

Gardenia

It has a fairly large size, photophilous, evergreen and blooms for almost six months. Its flowers are very fragrant. For the combination of these reasons, it is advisable to place the gardenia in the living room - you cannot hide such beauty in the bedroom.

Gardenia is quite capricious, only experienced and persistent flower growers will cope with the requirements of a tropican plant: watering, fertilizing, pruning, humidifying the air. As a reward, gardenia will delight the owner with its amazing flowers, similar to roses.

Empty corner

The corner of the room is the perfect place to hang indoor plants in small spaces. Large floral collections there can be compactly placed on graceful consoles and original slides - they not only do not take up much space, but also mask the boundaries of the room, which with such a floral installation will seem larger.

Artificial plants for indoor

Decorative items that look no different from real colors are popular for decorating room design. Artificial plants in modern interiors are used anywhere. They do not suffer from a lack of light, do not need care, feeding, transplanting, and will not die from the presence of powerful illumination or lack of moisture. Artificial products are striking in their identity with the original - lush vines, ferns, bamboo, bonsai or lemon trees, jasmine bushes, rice straws can decorate the most exquisite design.

Plants in the interior are unique pieces of nature that harmoniously complement and revitalize the home. The procedure for buying flowers must be carefully planned - not to fill the rooms with all kinds of pots in large quantities, but to purchase several beautiful specimens, correctly arrange them and provide proper care. Then the attractive greenery and bright flowers will ennoble the interior and will delight the hosts and guests for a long time with luscious foliage, bright buds and clean air.

How many people remember the geranium, which invariably flaunted from year to year on grandmother's windowsill? Or here's another - aloe. It rarely blooms, but the whole family is treated. Decorating a house with indoor plants is a long-standing tradition that is still very popular in our country.

Today we have all the possibilities for home photo design - in stores there are many different (including exotic) plants, original stands for flowers and pots, beautiful flower pots and flowerpots, as well as all kinds of decorative trifles.

Green plants can liven up any room. The main thing is to choose the correct and acceptable form of landscaping for yourself and your home.

Behind the sofa

Does your kitchen have a seating area right next to the window? Use the window sill behind it to your advantage. Plant there, for example, tall holly plants such as "mother-in-law's tongue". Using this technique, you will provide the flowers with the most favorable conditions for growth, and make the room green.

Ficus

Ficus rubber is a classic indoor tree from the times of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers. In modern apartments, other, smaller varieties of ficuses often live: Bengal, dwarf, Ali, Benjamin ficus.

Ficuses do not like permutations, they easily tolerate partial shade. They are evergreens, but under poor growing conditions they can shed their foliage. The trees completely die when the temperature drops to 10-12 degrees. Ficuses are from the tropics, so they will feel great in your living room at a temperature of 20-25 degrees and sufficient watering.

Do not forget: rubber ficus is growing rapidly, in apartment conditions it is necessary to limit its growth by placing the tree in small pots.

To decorate the living room, it is advisable to select large ornamental plants that fit well into the interior of a spacious room. Small flowers can get lost in space. Keep in mind that most of these plants do not like permutations, choose a permanent place of residence for them right away.

On furniture facades

The most that you can highlight for indoor plants is the side facade of a hanging kitchen cabinet? And that's enough! Attach a couple of hooks to it, on which, using a strong thread, fix flower pots or even ordinary glass jars with plants - your home mini-garden is ready.

Winter Garden

It's nice to indulge in summer memories, sitting in your own cozy corner among green plants and listening to the sound of the falling water of your own small waterfall. The winter garden can be a separate room, or it can have a mini format - at your discretion.

A winter garden is a specially selected room or part of it, which is decorated with phytodesign means using (except for flora) elements close to the natural atmosphere (for example, rocks and waterfalls).

It is very important that the conditions for trees and shrubs must be very carefully calculated in advance in order to avoid death and poor growth of plants. To do this, it is necessary to think over technical devices (compressors, lamps, air humidifiers, etc.).

On a portable ladder

You have a lot of indoor plants, but there is a sorely lack of space to place them - place the flowers on a compact decorative staircase. If necessary, you can at any time rearrange it from place to place and forget about the problem of finding a new corner for each pot.

Lemon Tree

Who of the florists has never tried to plant a lemon seed in a pot? Almost always, the seed germinates successfully and a small tree begins to form. But this is at first, because a lemon in nature is capable of growing up to eight meters in height, and in apartment conditions it reaches two meters in height.

A full tree is difficult to fit in a bedroom or small kitchen, so grow your citrus in your living room. Please note that the lemon does not like to move from one place to another. In this matter, he is conservative, prefers constancy.

Lemon is an indoor long-liver, it can grow up to 40 years without losing its decorative effect. The tree can not only decorate the room, but also bear fruit - real sour lemons. To obtain a guaranteed yield, it is best to grow a varietal lemon, which can be purchased as a small plant at a florist's store.

Fitostena

The creation of flower arrangements on the wall is a sensible idea for landscaping small apartments, in which it is difficult to find a place not only for indoor plants, but also for beautiful decor. Moreover, you can use the wall in any room, even in the corridor. There are two options here: placing an interesting frame on the wall, along which flowers from the floor planter will curl, or a box with hinges for pots.

Choose unpretentious plants for vertical gardening, as if they are located on the wall, it will be difficult for them to provide proper care. Philodendrons, scindapsus, succulents, hoya, chlorophytum - they are not afraid of an abundance of moisture and drought, heat and drafts, sunlight and shade, but at the same time they perfectly absorb harmful substances from the air.

"Blooming" interior

Flowers in pots, standing on the windowsill, are a very familiar and "boring" picture. However, today designers are boldly experimenting with landscaping residential and office space, breaking the prevailing stereotypes. As a result, blooming mini-flower beds in the interior can be found anywhere: on the floor, on the staircase, by the fireplace.

Indeed, for a favorable neighborhood, you just need to take into account the peculiarities of plants and follow the recommendations for caring for them. In any case, with the right design, there should be a sense of harmony, consistency and appropriateness of all elements. Of course, some people tend to intuitively select and arrange plants so that each flower shows itself from the most advantageous side, but this is not always the case. When specialists are engaged in phytodesign, they first of all take into account the microclimate of the room and select plants in accordance with their needs for light, moisture and heat. And only then comes the selection of the necessary specimens of plants in terms of their decorative qualities.

There are a lot of opportunities for amateur florists now: a huge amount of special literature, a lot of decorative elements and devices. Therefore, any interested person can engage in phytodesign and reach certain heights in it.

Without delving into the intricacies of cultivation, we will consider the possibilities that plants give to decorate our interior. As in any business, here you need to know when to stop and remember that flowers can quite effectively influence the visual perception of a room.

One of the main points is that the plants should always be of the same size. Equally unsuccessful will be the placement of a small plant in a spacious room, and too large in a small one.

Placing a tall plant with a straight stem in a room with a low ceiling can create a "raised" feeling in the ceiling. A ceiling that is too high will approach if you attach hanging pots with plants that have hanging stems on it.

The background on which the plants are located is of great importance. The variegated walls are suitable for plants with large, dark leaves. For floral and decorative compositions, a solid or neutral background is more advantageous.

In the interior, plants are placed both in groups and singly. A detached flower will inevitably attract attention, dominate, so it needs to be properly decorated. A large plant is usually placed on the floor or on a low stand.

The container in which it is placed must be carefully selected in accordance with the overall style of the room. Smaller plants look better on tall stands or podiums. Good singles: ficus, dracaena, citrus trees, palms, laurel, monstera, lianas.

Bathroom hooks

Have you ever thought about carving out some space for greenery in a tiny bathroom? But in vain! Hang the pot with a potted flower on a clothesline holder or on hooks for towels - a great solution for original landscaping in unusual places.

Vegetable garden in the doorway

You can even create a mini greenhouse from indoor plants in the doorway. Pick up small pots for flowers or herbs and place them vertically on one or two sides of the aisle - this kind of landscaping will not only refresh the interior, but also visually expand the entrance area to the room, which in small apartments usually looks like a tight loophole into a gloomy cave.

Geranium

Geranium is very popular in home floriculture: it is unpretentious, has a long flowering period, cleans the air of pathogenic bacteria, releasing essential oils. It is precisely because of the strong smell of geranium that it is not recommended to place it in bedrooms and children's rooms, as allergic reactions are possible.

The living room is a more spacious room, the concentration of geranium essential oils in the surrounding space is less, so if you like pelargonium, find a place for it in this room. Do not forget about sufficient lighting, because geranium is a photophilous plant. In summer, it is advisable to move geraniums to a balcony or loggia.

Eucharis, or Amazonian lily

The aroma, like most lilies, is pronounced and intense: during the flowering period, the whole living room is filled with a sweet fragrance.

Interior decor ideas with cacti photo examples

  1. Cacti on the table... The most unexpected place is a festive table, however, the correct presentation can give even the most prickly cuteness cactus, and create a festive atmosphere. Single composition under a glass cover or in a glass vase. For the most original minds, you can create a semblance of snow. A snow cactus will help cheer up the atmosphere and set the right tone at the table.

  2. Cactus florarium in the living room, bathroom, hallway. Also an unusual idea, of course, when choosing cacti, you need to take into account the specifics. Not every cactus can withstand moisture. However, the combination of thorny and blooming cacti of various shapes lends a whimsical and even playful tone to the interior.

  • Exotic cacti on the fireplace... Who said that this is not allowed? Solitary giants in wicker pots are an extraordinary sight that speaks of the flexible thinking of their owner.

  • Cactus on the balcony... Composition of cacti of different shape, size and lifestyle.

Harmonious compositions in a pot

When comparing plants with each other, we must remember to maintain the appropriate proportions. We will get the desired effect when we use three types of plants to create a composition with our own hands: tall, which is the most powerful and highest element of the composition, low and medium, which will fill and complement the entire composition.

Examples of compositions that remain decorative for a long time consist of the following combinations:

  • spathiphyllum ‘Gemini’ + royal begonia + ficus ‘Sunny’,
  • hamedorea palm (large plant, but slowly growing) + nephrolepis cordifolia fern ‘Duffy’ + ficus ‘Sunny’,
  • spathiphyllum ‘Gemini’ + ficus ‘Sunny’ + fittonia,
  • spathiphyllum 'Gemini' + cordilina + royal begonia + dwarf ficus,
  • chamedorea + Mason's begonia + common ivy,
  • Bauer's begonia + kordilina shrub 'Kiwi' + common ivy.

Colonial style

One of the oldest in the interior and owes its appearance to British colonists. By the end of the 19th century, the British Empire had many colonies almost all over the world. Its area of interest included the countries of Asia, Africa, India, North America, and the South Pacific. This had a strong influence on the culture of the country and, ultimately, led to the mixing of the styles of the colonized countries on the territory of the Empire and the emergence of the concept of "colonial style".

Currently, it includes many subspecies - from European to African. Combines their use in the interior of wood carved or wicker furniture in natural shades; neutral or light color of the walls, decorative elements made from natural materials; vintage accessories and souvenirs from tropical countries that create an atmosphere of travel and adventure.

ON THE PICTURE: Modern living room decorated in a colonial style

Well, and, of course, plants! British colonists from their travels brought home many exotic wonders - including representatives of the flora. A tropical accent of a spacious bright living room will give any kind of Palm trees, and in a dimly lit small room you can place a shade-tolerant, unpretentious Hamedorea.

ON THE PICTURE: The palm tree in the corner successfully emphasizes the features of the colonial style

A large specimen of the fern Nephrolepis, as well as various ampelous plants and vines: Ivy, Chlorophytum, Scindapsus, will look ideal on a wooden stand. An excellent solution would be to place containers with them on rattan wicker shelves.

Plants such as Bamboo are also very appropriate for this style direction; a close relative of sugar cane - Pogonaterum and Dracaena Sandera, better known as "luck bamboo". Aspidistra, absolutely unpretentious and undemanding to light, will successfully fit into the design of the room - a pot with it can be placed on a table in the center of the room.

Well, what are the tropics without orchids? The easiest-to-care Phalaenopsis with their stunning variety of flower colors are best suited to give the room a southern accent.

Types of compositions from indoor plants

Depending on the interior in the apartment, the florist chooses which type of composition will organically fit into the environment. There are the following types of compositions:

1. Mini-garden of indoor flowers in one container.

Plants can place:

  • in the basket;
  • in large or long pots;
  • in a flowerpot;
  • in containers of unusual shape (for example, figurines with a depression, wooden snags);

2. Vertical flower panels.

The types of panels are:

  • flower picture - a light structure, inside which there is earth, plants are planted in special holes. Watering is carried out on top of the container.
  • a living wall is a vertical garden, the design of which is more complex and can be divided into several compartments. Vertical garden plants need daily care and special drip irrigation;

3.Florariums are a group of plants planted in a glass container of various shapes.

We talked in detail about florariums.

4. Horizontal potted group - a group of flowers in pots, located on one stand or pallet;

5. Vertical Pot Group - A group of potted flowers arranged vertically or in a cascade.

Orchid

If you take flowers that are less demanding to care for, then orchids (with good humidity and moderately warm climates) will be a good choice. Delicate, impossibly beautiful - real queens. And how many beautiful views can be accommodated in the living room!

You can start with asparagus

Asparagus is one of the most beautiful ampelous plants. Shoots up to two meters long will perfectly decorate any bright room. There are also compact varieties, whose shoots are half as long. The most popular are the bristly asparagus and the dense-flowered asparagus of the Mayer and Sprenger varieties. They are undemanding to care for and are very beautiful, however, they require good lighting in the room. For the winter, the plant must be rearranged in a cool place with a temperature of + 10-16 ° C, and if the temperature is higher, then it should be illuminated additionally.

Adjusting to the lighting

We have already said that it is better to place hanging plants at the top. To this it must be added that if you put plants on top, then the pots should be provided with maximum resistance. This can be done by weighting the flowerpots with counterweights. First of all, such a measure refers to rather weighty aroids, for which, by the way, indoor conditions are excellent.

If you want to decorate a sunny, brightly lit room, then you will not find a better candidate than cacti and succulents with elongated shoots. It doesn't matter that they are not dangling, because they can be made that way. For example, an original ampelous plant will emerge from Milkweed. There are many candidates among plants with naturally drooping shoots, for example, Sansevier small, Morgan's sedum, Ceropegia, Selenicereus, Ragus, peperomia, aporocactus. A little less light is required by beautifully blooming forest cacti, hoyi, asparagus, ivy, plectrantus, cissus, comelina. In light partial shade or under fluorescent lamps, begonias, ferns, gesneriae, aroid and arrowroot feel good.

indoor plants in the interior

Asplenium

In nature, Aspleniums grow in the tropics, but some species withstand indoor conditions well. The fern has another name - kostenets. The most common is the nest-like asplenium.

The plant is a rosette of long, smooth leaves with slightly wavy edges.Asplenium is rather large in size. The length of the leaves reaches 70 cm, due to which the plant has a very attractive, solemn appearance. Loves high humidity, which should be taken into account when growing.

Possible types of compositions from potted plants:

The usual arrangement of potted plants.

A place is determined where you can place from 5 to 15 potted plants. Both clay and plastic pots can be used. Their shape and color should be the same and monochromatic so that the gaze is not distracted by them.
The composition is arranged in the following order:

In the background, either plants with dark and large leaves, or taller ones, are placed. Ornamental plants determine the shape of the composition, and flowering plants are added to accentuate the composition. Sometimes you can make a very beautiful composition without using flowering plants at all, grouping together only decorative ones, with different shapes of leaves and their shades.

Professional arrangement of potted plants.

Professional composition is very similar to regular composition, but it has a number of conditions that decorators use. These compositions are usually done in buildings. They are made by professional decorators. A reduced version can be made by yourself by placing such a composition in a suitable place in an apartment or house.

For a professional composition, a pedestal with different levels is made or purchased. Plants are placed in pots that match the color of the pedestal. The shape of the pots should be the same, but the dimensions, heights and thicknesses should be different.

For example, the pots can be made in the form of cylinders of different height and thickness. Larger and taller plants are usually placed in the background. For example - a palm tree. In the center it is worth using one of the ampelous plants, which will beautifully braid the vessel. A flowering plant is placed in the foreground. As the flower withers, another flowering plant is established in this place.

Composition - green window.

For such a composition, light-loving plants, such as cacti or other succulents, are suitable. Shelves made of transparent material are fixed on the window. Pots are placed on them, in which, as a rule, the same indoor plants are placed.

It is worth noting that this composition of indoor plants has its drawbacks. Since the pots are arranged in even rows, the composition looks too orderly. In addition, there are problems with the subsequent washing of the window. Nevertheless, some composition lovers consider the green window to be the most stylish and unique composition and go in this sense to the end - forcing the entire window, from top to bottom, with a green composition. Looks very pretty!

Composition of indoor plants located on a pallet with pebbles.

This composition will be very relevant, in rooms with central heating, plants that require high humidity. Take a pallet made of material that is impervious. The height of the pallet is about 4 cm. A layer of small pebbles, pours out to the bottom.

Then the pebbles are filled with water in such a way that the lower ones are wet, but there should be no water on the surface. Pots of plants are placed on the stones. If you install such a tray on a battery, then the air humidity around the plants will increase many times. When watering, excess water will move to the sump and help humidify the air.

And don't forget to include a money tree in your composition.

A collection of identical indoor plants.

The purpose of such a composition is to emphasize the beauty and uniqueness of each plant belonging to the same type. As a rule, collections are placed in places of natural light. These can be both succulent (cacti, etc.) and more complex plants (ferns, flowers, etc.).

Houseplants vertical composition.

Vertical composition can be a good solution in rooms where there is a lack of horizontal space.

For such a composition, you can use either a corner stand, or a stand with rings, or you can hang baskets with pots one under the other. In a vertical composition, one of the ampelous plants is usually always present, forming a column of leaves and flowers.

In this period of my life, it is interesting for me to approach everything from a creative side.

Here, for example, and flowers: "just like that" they grew in my childhood, according to the principle "planted and forgotten." We had two windowsills furnished with flowers, in one the sun roasted incredibly, on the second only sometimes; land from the garden, no one thought about annual transplants, not to mention top dressing. And everything grew, however, all the plants were unpretentious and mostly not flowering. Since then, I have remained a descendant of the white-veined milkweed, which now also grows remarkably in very extreme conditions: there is not enough light, heat in summer, heat from the battery in winter and a draft from the window (the draft, however, is annual). Exactly in the same conditions, in the same pot with milkweed, the scindapsus lives (where this "liana" came from, I do not remember), about which it is written, I quote the Internet: “The only thing that should not be done is to place the scindapsus over heating devices or in a draft. Temperatures below -0 C, like hot dry air, are destructive for him. "

Returning to the creative side. So, I decided to green the kitchen. Then I figured out how to make it so that not just put the pots on the windowsills. Then I thought about where and who exactly to place. Then I started looking on the Internet for interesting ideas for the joint placement of plants in a composition.

It didn't take long to search.

These compositions made us look at the well-known plants in a new way. For example, I didn’t think seriously about the fat woman, because in my childhood she grew up like a weed, and you yourself understand what attitude is to weeds.

In any interior, decorative flowers in pots are always relevant. With their help, you can create a unique style, a really good mood, and, in addition, thanks to such exclusive decorations, emphasize the high status of the room.

Recently, there are more and more suppliers of goods such as potted flowers. That is why it is really difficult to choose a really reliable supplier in this field of activity. But experienced market specialists have analyzed this area especially for the convenience of potential buyers.

The choice of pots and pots for flower arrangements

The interior has not yet been finalized, but flower arrangements are already asking for there? Then you probably need a large model, even a floor model. Nowadays, modern technological and production possibilities are endless. That is why in the Green Street online store you can choose any anchored product from the rich assortment.

Every apartment or house will look empty and uncomfortable without indoor plants. Indoor plants enliven any room and create a unique microclimate.

You can add an elegant touch to the interior design of an apartment or house using not only individual plants, but also compositions of indoor flowers. Designers and florists can mix small and large plants, smooth and thorny, flowering and non-flowering, vibrant and muted in hues.

The most important rule in this case will be that plants can grow next to each other, and they do not have to be transplanted to other places.

Obviously, the rules for caring for plants in a composition with a common soil should be the same. In the case of a combination of plants in their own pots, the space between them is filled with decorative material (sisal, colored stones, pebbles). Florists often use the latter option as a gift, combining potted plants in a large wicker basket.

Indoor plants in the interior of the apartment, correctly assembled into a single composition, represent a living decor that looks harmoniously against the background of other things.

In order to create compositions from indoor plants, you need to figure out what types of compositions are and know the rules for their compilation. Having learned this information, not only a florist, but also any florist will be able to create beautiful mini-gardens from indoor flowers.

Cacti - the specifics of home care

Cacti belong to the group of succulent plants - they are extremely drought-resistant, as they are able to store and retain water for a long time in their juicy and fleshy stems. The homeland of cacti is America. Here plants grow in natural conditions, capturing an area with completely different soil and climatic zones. Most cacti grow in arid areas, but some species can be found on the seashores, grassy plains, rainforests, and even in the highlands. For beginner cactus growers, all cactus plants can be grouped according to a variety of growing conditions. Such a grouping will facilitate the care of cacti in an apartment, allowing you to correctly place plants at home:

  • The first group is desert cacti. The desert plant requires bright sunlight and occasional watering. Content in summer is mandatory in the fresh air (in the garden, on an open balcony), in winter, the content is cold - at an air temperature of at least +6 degrees. Standard soil for cacti and succulents can be mixed with regular garden soil.
  • The second group is cacti of high mountain regions. The mountain plant also prefers bright light, but unlike the desert cactus, watering is extremely rare. Mountain cactus is kept on open balconies in summer, and on cold glazed loggias in winter. The soil for this group of cacti should not include humus, and drainage must be used not only lower, but also upper.
  • The third group is cacti from grassy plains. Plain plants thrive in fairly heavy soil and moderate light. In summer, cacti require generous watering, in winter - rare.
  • The fourth group is cacti from tropical rainforests. Tropical forest plants require shading from direct sunlight, light nutritious soil, abundant watering in summer, and regular, moderate watering in winter. In the warm season, it is desirable to keep the plants shaded in the fresh air.

    Country

The so-called "rustic" style, which is the embodiment of the furnishings of a 19th century country house. This direction includes several varieties: English and Scandinavian style, American "farm", French "Provence". But, whichever one you choose, they all have common country features: naturalness, naturalness, simplicity, - even some naivety - carry in themselves a slight sadness of childhood memories of grandmother's country house.

ON THE PICTURE: Style "Provence" - one of the subspecies of "country"

Country is sustainable design. Roughly finished wooden furniture, patchwork bedspreads, wicker chairs, floral wallpaper, homespun rugs, embroidered pillows, towels, napkins; hand-forged items, lamps with lampshades, porcelain figurines, ceramics - all this gives this style a unique charm and uniqueness.

Country music is characterized by a thick, juicy, slightly muted multicolor. And plants for the home are selected in accordance with this. Moreover, you can not be shy and not limit yourself in quantity - this style, like no other, welcomes their abundance. The "rustic" style is, first of all, the simplest and most common flowers - the classics of window sills. And here, in the yellow jersey of the leader, of course, Pelargoniums - both ampelous species and bush; all types of Fuchsias will also look organic. The blue and white Campanula ("groom" and "bride"), bright multi-colored flowers - "moths" of Cyclamens, will perfectly decorate the windows; Begonias, Balsams, Primrose.

It is impossible to imagine a country-style room without a huge Ficus or Hibiscus (“Chinese rose”) growing in a tub. And those secluded corners where enough light does not penetrate can be "given" to Aglaonema, Chlorophytum, Aspidistra, Sansevieria, placing them on a chest of drawers or a bedside table.

Hanging shoots of Ivy, Tradescantia, Saxifrage will look great on wall shelves and cabinets.

And for collectors of Saintpaulias, country style is a real godsend! Usambara violets fit perfectly into it; the main thing is to choose the right shelves, shelves and lighting for their placement, so that the interior does not lose its characteristic features. Country music is also ideal for potted herbs: dill, fennel and other spices.

For plants used in country-style design, it is recommended to choose planters made of vines, wood, rattan or warm-colored ceramics.

Flowering Plant Energy: Vampires and Donors

Like all living things, flowers have their own energy, which affects the atmosphere in the house in different ways. The energy of flowers can be positive or negative, so many esotericists subdivide plants into donors and vampires. It is important to take into account that the people consider everything incomprehensible and inexplicable to be magic, so you can often find a rational grain in the omens.

If you look at which flowers fall into the category of "energy vampires", you will notice that they have one of several properties. Some grow very luxuriantly, covering a window or wall with a thick carpet. At night, when photosynthesis stops, green neighbors absorb oxygen from the air. And if such a decoration is in the bedroom, the tenants are guaranteed a lack of sleep and weakness caused by a lack of oxygen. Other plants can release substances that affect the state of the nervous system. Still others simply have too strong a scent that causes headaches.

The category of donor flowers that purify or give energy includes plants that release phytoncides useful for humans. A bush of roommint or lavender will help you calm down. Geranium is useful to plant for those who have problems with the cardiovascular system. And rosemary will help to cope with insomnia. So it is worth listening to the signs concerning the energy of flowers.

There is a classification according to the compatibility of plants with men and women. Spathiphyllum, hibiscus, gardenia, orchid are considered excellent companions for women and girls, and juniper, anthurium or poliscias are for men.

    4. Combine

You can collect plants of the same type in one place (succulents, for example) or use the same pots. In a word, a group of flowers located together must have something in common so that they are perceived as a single whole.
