Lambda zone is a Korean microencapsulated insecticidal preparation, it is an emulsion concentrate. The main active ingredient is lambda-cyhalothrin 2.5%. The product is supplied in plastic bottles of 50 ml. This amount of funds is enough to process up to 100 sq. M.
Component composition
"Lamda Zone" is supplied in such original packaging
The insecticide is produced in the form of a white microencapsulated suspension, packaged in 50 ml plastic bottles. The main active chemical lambda cyhalothrin from bedbugs is absolutely safe for pets. Its concentration in the suspension is 2.5%. Nanogranules in micro doses are passed through the shell to the outside. This principle ensures the long-term effectiveness of the poison. Funds in such a package are enough to process an area of 100 sq. m.
Important! On thematic forums, there is a little strange terminology - people are discussing a lambda probe from bedbugs. In fact, there is a mistake here, since the lambda probe is an oxygen sensor in the exhaust manifold of a car engine. And our insecticide is called Lambda Zone. Don't be confused.
Malfunction symptoms
What happens if the lambda probe starts to malfunction or shuts down altogether? The system, not receiving feedback, starts to work not in the optimal, but in the averaged mode, using the parameters that are stored in the memory by default. And most often this is work on a re-enriched mixture that does not completely burn out. As a result, such problems begin:
- Fuel consumption increases;
- Reduced engine power;
- The response to the gas pedal is deteriorating;
- The engine starts to malfunction at idle;
- There is black smoke coming from the exhaust pipe;
- Exhaust toxicity increases;
- The catalyst is overheating;
- The Check Engine lights up.
However, all these signs do not give a clear indication of the lambda probe. The same symptoms occur with other failures, therefore, it is possible to determine what exactly is faulty only after diagnosis.
- Natural wear and tear. It works in rather harsh conditions and sooner or later fails, especially with our gasoline;
- Overheating of the sensor. Yes, it is hardy, but it also has a tensile strength;
- Wiring problems. Lambda cables are quite thin and, if installed incorrectly, will break off from vibration;
- Breakage of the heating element;
- Water ingress into the inner chamber or clogging of the channels to the atmospheric air;
- Contact with oil or dirt;
- Curved hands of the master who installed it.
The consequences of a failure of an oxygen sensor are quite unpleasant. This is not only an increase in gasoline costs, but also more noticeable costs, for example, the failure of the catalytic converter. A new catalyst will cost much more than the coolest sensor, so it's better not to delay diagnostics and replacement.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of "Lambda Zone"
Like any chemical agent, this drug has both positive and negative sides.
pros
- Despite the vitality of this bloodsucker and the ability to mutate the drug "lambda zone" is not addictive.
- The speed of exposure to the poison. After 6 hours, you can see the first corpses of bedbugs, and after 5 the last individuals will die.
- When spraying, no smell is emitted, the very suspension of bases for adding fragrances;
- The insecticide can be used for prophylaxis for up to six months.
- The effectiveness of lambda cyhalothrin after spraying for at least 60 days.
- For warm-blooded animals and humans, it is not hazardous to health.
Minuses
- The emulsion cannot be used for upholstered furniture and mattresses. As you know, bedbugs love to hide in such secluded dark and warm places.
- The rather large cost of the emulsion is about 650 rubles.
"Lambda Zone" cannot be processed
Attention!
Calculate the dose, exactly following the instructions, so as not to overdo it either with the amount of water or with the substance itself. Otherwise, its action will be either ineffective or dangerous to the health of others.
If even a small amount of poison gets on the mucous membrane, you should immediately rinse this place with warm water. The room should not be left empty after the baiting process - a so-called bait is needed in order to attract young individuals that have crawled out of the larvae in search of food: otherwise they may hide.
Maximum observance of all safety rules and regulations will help you to remove bedbugs efficiently and without harm to health!
Application features
You need to start with wet cleaning in the house - nothing should interfere with the penetration of the product in the places where the bloodsuckers are located. You also need to take into account that after spraying the premises, you cannot do general cleaning.
An often admitted error in self-processing with this chemical is an incorrect calculation of the dosage of suspension and water. The wrong ratio can lead to zero results. But with an overly concentrated solution, it will not work to process the entire area of the room, it simply will not be enough.
Important! To calculate the correct proportion, take a remedy for bedbugs "Lambda Zone" 5 ml and 1 liter. oxen, mix slowly until smooth. When spraying insecticide on absorbent surfaces, 100 ml of the prepared mixture per 1 m2 is consumed. For processing flat and smooth surfaces 50 ml / m2.
Microcapsules will spread to all insect shelters
Anyone who has experience dealing with cockroaches and bedbugs knows that even if every visible crack, hole or corner in the house is treated, the likelihood that all insect shelters will be affected in this way is small. But this problem is relevant only for various powders, gels and liquids. In the case of using "Lambda Zone", whose principle of operation is more progressive, the result will be different.
How to achieve maximum efficiency
The use of the drug in liquid form involves the use of fine dispersion. Ideally, this should be professional high pressure equipment. When self-processing, a high-quality spray gun is used - the smaller the holes in it, the better. This is a fundamental point, since it will allow achieving the same composition consumption as the manufacturer suggests. And the poison will even get into the smallest cracks and holes, which means the bug is guaranteed to be defeated.
The drug should get into even the most difficult-to-reach places
The mechanism of action of poison on an insect
Lambda-cyhalothrin is an inhibitor acting on the principle of oxidative phosphorylation. With the contact interaction of the bug with the treated surface, the substance penetrates into the digestive system of the pest. Further, the killing components are absorbed into the hemolymph. From this moment on, the nervous system is damaged - the motor centers of the bug are completely paralyzed. Metabolic processes decrease, breathing stops. At the same time, the bug loses its ability to feed and dies within 24 hours.
Protect yourself when dealing with poison
In case of contact with the mucous membrane of the eye, redness occurs. No allergic reactions were found when the poison came into contact with the skin.It is advisable to wear a protective suit, mask, goggles and gloves before processing the premises. In case of contact with the mucous membrane, you should urgently rinse your eyes with clean running water. If there is no workwear, then the minimum protective set: rubber gloves, a hat, glasses and a mask for the respiratory organs made of fabric in several layers. Although, we still recommend purchasing a respirator. Clothes should be long sleeves.
During processing, all pets should be removed from the premises. Potted flowers should be placed in a safe place. Cover the aquarium with fish with a lid on top. Pack baby accessories in sealed bags. Hide food in the refrigerator. You can not spray poison on the body of household appliances during processing. Remember that the insecticide bottle must be kept out of the reach of children.
Correct equipment for dealing with poisons, but not enough headgear
See a doctor immediately! Even with the low toxicity declared by the manufacturer, lambda-cyhalothrin poses a certain threat to humans. For example, improper handling of the drug can lead to poisoning. In this case, the following symptoms will appear: salivation, impaired coordination of movements, shortness of breath, tremor, decreased muscle tone. With such a clinical picture, it is important to seek medical help as soon as possible.
Your next steps
So, you are determined to remove unwanted inhabitants from your apartment once and for all and have already purchased the proposed product. There is little left to do - to do everything right:
- before starting pest control, carry out a thorough wet cleaning in the home, because after the start of the process, you will have to refrain from it for a couple of weeks in order to be more effective;
- move furniture away from the walls, disassemble, cover with plastic bags, isolate valuable household appliances (along with personal items that are not subject to the disinfestation process);
- people and animals must vacate the premises;
- close doors and windows to avoid drafts;
- the body of the worker should be covered as much as possible, put a mask on his face, and rubber gloves on his hands;
- dissolve the insecticide in the required amount of water, according to the instructions;
- use a sprayer to treat the entire room, especially carefully pay attention to the places where bedbugs accumulate;
- after half an hour, ventilate the apartment, wait for the treated areas to dry, wipe the floors and household items, and only then let the residents and pets back in.
Interesting Facts
As they say: "The new is the long forgotten old." It turns out that preparations based on lambda-cyhalothrin were invented back in 1977. They got into trade networks in 1985. Under natural conditions, this chemical component is not washed off by rain, it easily penetrates through the skin of the leaf blade. Not afraid of direct sunlight. The disintegration period in natural conditions can be up to 12 weeks.
Important! All preparations in which the role of the active substance is played by lambda-cyhalothrin for humans belongs to the 2-3 class of toxicity, and for bees to the 1-2 class.

Testimonials
Antonina Ivanovna, Novokuznetsk
It so happened in life that I had to change my permanent place of residence. Rented an inexpensive apartment with furniture. There was a lot of happiness, but as it turned out over time, in this apartment I was not alone, but a whole brood of bedbugs. I am a clean woman, so, without putting it on the back burner, I immediately began to fight bedbugs. I called friends and acquaintances. One friend advised me to buy "Lamda Zone". I did so. At the moment I live alone - I have long forgotten about the blood-sucking neighbors.
Maxim, Penza
My neighbors are very terrible. I was very afraid that because of their lifestyle, their cockroaches or bedbugs would run into my apartment through the ventilation or front doors. As it turned out, it was not in vain - the bugs did appear. I went to the store, and there are a lot of these poisons. I took Lambda Zone at random and thought that the more expensive it is, the more effective it is. Moreover, the tool indicates that you can get rid of many parasites. In the most dangerous, in my opinion, places in the apartment, I sprayed it with a spray bottle. After a while, it turned out that we had bugs in our house. I do not recommend the drug, it does not work.
Masha, Samara
She came from a business trip and brought bedbugs with her. The family faced this problem for the first time in their life. As far as I know, these bloodsuckers pose a health hazard, they are carriers of dangerous diseases. We got rid of parasites by inviting pest controllers. They used the drug Lamda Zone. The expected effect was obtained the first time. My mark is excellent.
Sergey Ivanovich, Moscow
I have a shop premises that I rent. It so happened that bedbugs started up in it. I have not encountered anything like this before. I know firsthand that these insects are very difficult to remove, they are quite tenacious. The problem had to be solved quickly and efficiently. We used a drug against bedbugs "Lyamda Zone" to fight. I did everything as recommended in the instructions. It is very important to stick to the correct dosage. I was surprised that it does not contain a poisonous odor. Within a couple of weeks it was possible to rent out the premises, all the bugs died. I recommend this poison.
