This sometimes necessitates re-treatment of the premises approximately 2 weeks after the first procedure, when parasite larvae have already hatched from the surviving eggs. However, in practice, re-treatment is not always required, since the prolonged action of the agent ensures the destruction of young larvae immediately after they emerge from the eggs.
2. The disadvantages of Xulat Micro include a relatively rapid loss of efficiency when exposed to direct sunlight.

Piperonyl butoxide improves the penetration of pyrethroids through the protective integument of insects, increasing the overall effectiveness of the drug up to 5 times.

Such a combined composition turns out to be very effective against cockroaches, bedbugs, as well as other parasites and pests due to the fact that the likelihood of insects developing resistance to three active ingredients at once is negligible. For example, even populations of bedbugs resistant to cypermethrin, being treated with Xulat Micro, die from tetramethrin and piperonyl butoxide.

It should be noted that Xulat is one of the so-called microencapsulated agents: insecticides are enclosed in tiny capsules, which, after the solution dries on the treated surface, simply remain here in the form of the thinnest invisible layer. Flies (adults) died completely when exposed to 0.25% concentrations on glass and plywood (Table 2). When exposed to 0.125% of the suspension, 70% of the flies died on glass in a day, and only 40% on plywood. When exposed to 0.250 and 0.125% suspensions, bed bugs completely died on both glass and plywood. The effectiveness of the "Ksulat C25" agent for mosquito larvae Aedes aegypti L To determine the working concentration for mosquito larvae, working aqueous suspensions from 0.25% to 0.0625% were used (Table 3). It was found that already 2 hours after the introduction of the agent into the water, a massive death of mosquito larvae was observed. So, at concentrations of 0.25% and 0.125%, 80% of the larvae turned out to be dead or paralyzed after a specified period of time, and at a concentration of 0.0625% - 60% of the larvae.After 24 hours, all the larvae died in glasses where the insecticide was added at concentrations of 0.25% and 0.125%. In a glass with a concentration of 0.0625%, the mortality rate reached 95%: one larva turned into a pupa. Then an additional series of experiments was carried out using concentrations of 0.0675%; 0.07% and 0.0750%. As a result, the latter two caused 100% death of the larvae, but a 0.075% suspension is recommended for use in practice. Residual insecticidal activity of Ksulat C25 for insects when replanting them on treated surfaces (50 ml / m2) Working concentrations (maximum for cockroaches) of some chlorpyrifos-based products registered in the Russian Federation natural reservoirs of non-fishing importance, in the basements of residential buildings, in sewage, water accumulations in the subway, in fire-fighting barrels and other urban reservoirs where mosquito larvae develop. For the destruction of the larvae of flies developing in the substrate, on the basis of studies carried out with analogues of the agent earlier, it is possible to recommend 0.4% for DV working aqueous suspensions. Consumption rate for a shallow substrate depth (up to 50 cm) - 0.5 l / m2; if the depth exceeds 3-5 m (cesspools), the flow rate should be increased to 1-5 l / m2. Evaluation of the residual activity made it possible to establish that it remains at a high level for cockroaches (0.4% for DV) for 8 weeks (observation period): 100% (glass) and only 40% after 6 weeks on plywood (Table 4). For flies (0.25%) and bedbugs (0.125% for DV) after 6 weeks, the effect remained at 100% on glass and 60% and 70% on plywood; after 8 weeks, the 100% effect was retained only on the glass. In practical terms, a reprocessing period can be recommended in 6-8 weeks, depending on the type of insect, the number and condition of the object. Discussion of the results and conclusions The results of studying the insecticidal activity of this agent indicate its high acute effect against cockroaches, flies and bedbugs: their 100% death occurred in a day. Indicators of residual action: the number of deaths after 6-8 weeks when insects are planted on the treated surfaces of this agent is at the level of analogues allowed in the Russian Federation. Comparing the insecticidal activity of the studied agent with the agents previously registered in the Russian Federation on the same DV, we can talk about the comparability of the results (Table 5). The results of limited field tests allow us to recommend this remedy against fleas, ants, wasps and fly larvae. Optimum working concentrations are given in table. 6. Recommendations for the practical use of the means "Xulat C25" According to the toxicological parameters, "Xulat C25" when taken orally and applied to the skin belongs to the 4th class of low-hazard drugs according to GOST 12.1.007-76. When inhaled, aerosols belong to the second, and vapors to the fourth hazard class, in connection with which the drug is recommended with regulated conditions of use.
