Despite the fact that Prestige can be used to process a wide variety of garden crops, it is most often used precisely to protect potatoes. Due to the characteristics of the drug itself, it is not the plants themselves that need to be sprayed with chemicals, but the tubers that will be planted in the ground.

In general, Prestige can be used for dressing tubers immediately before planting, and in advance, at the stage of their germination. In the first case, a working solution is prepared, consisting of 50 ml of a suspension diluted in 3 liters of water. This amount of solution is enough for dressing 50 kg of tubers.

If you want to protect the potatoes as much as possible from the Colorado potato beetle, it is better to carry out the processing in advance, during germination, that is, about 2 weeks before planting in the ground. To do this, take 30 ml of a chemical for 600 ml of water and spray it onto the potatoes. Then the substance should dry and the tubers can be left for germination. Re-treatment with the same concentrate is carried out immediately before planting.

It often happens that the tubers intended for planting in the ground are too large, and they are cut to increase the amount of planting material. However, if you plan to process potatoes with Prestige, this is not recommended.

Since Prestige is considered toxic, care must be taken when diluting it in water. First, to prepare the working solution, you need to use plastic utensils that are not used for storing or processing food. It is better to immediately allocate a separate bucket for this purpose, which you will use for breeding poisons in the future.
