On the other hand, it turns out that plant growth stimulants at home are very easy to prepare yourself. Moreover, the costs of their "production" will be minimal, and the result will surely please you. It is recommended to use them already at the initial stage of work with seed.
"Kornevin" - an accelerated start!
We can safely say that Kornevin accelerates root growth. It is especially effective when the roots are poorly developed or damaged on the cuttings.
The active ingredient here is indolylbutyric acid in high concentration. Mixing with the soil, the active substance forms the hormone heteroauxin, which affects the development of the rhizome and forms its cells. In addition, it contains many nutrients required for plant formation.
It can be effective for accelerating the release of peduncles, accelerating the division of bulbs of bulbous plants.
Kornevin in solution with water is used as an "incentive compress" for seeds. After the procedure, seedlings appear faster, and resistance to diseases and temperature extremes increases. Cuttings root much faster if the roots are treated with Kornevin.
Disadvantages and advantages of using
The advantages of using Kornevin are obvious: accelerating the germination of seeds and the formation of the root system, there is a high resistance to diseases, changing weather. But, all this works only with strict adherence to dosages. If you do not respect the proportions, even for a few grams, you can get the opposite effect. The use of the drug in high concentration leads to rotting of rhizomes. Thus, when working with a stimulant, you must follow the recipe and act according to the instructions. In addition, it is highly toxic, with frequent use it affects the quality of the fetus.
What happened to the flowers
At home, I diluted 1 g of powder for 5 liters. water, watered and sprayed with a solution all the house plants.
The result was awesome! And it became noticeable after a week:
- The arrowroots have released new leaves and shoots.

Energen
Energen is highly efficient, the instructions for use are simple. The preparation contains salts of humic and fulvic acids, silicic acids, sulfur, macro and microelements. Available in liquid and capsule form. The second type is the most convenient for use.
Energen affects the speed of seed germination and their survival rate, reduces the amount of nitrates in fruits, increases resistance to negative factors that are susceptible to vegetables and fruit crops.
The stimulant is used when processing and watering plants. Can be used for soaking seeds, tubers, cuttings, seedlings and bulbs. Watering with its addition enriches the soil with humus, which affects the acceleration of plant development.

But, as already mentioned, everything is good in moderation. You can water with Energen solutions no more than four times during the growing season. Observing the instructions, do not exceed the dosage. Do not allow direct contact of chemistry with human skin and mucous membranes. Especially cautious is those who have small children in the house.
Why are seeds soaked?
Swelling seeds is a way to speed up their germination. For this, the planting material is soaked in water. This method is cheap and affordable, while its effectiveness is quite high - the sprouts do appear faster and at the same time they are stronger. In order for the germinated raw materials to be well moistened, you must follow the following algorithm of actions:
- A deep dish is prepared and seeds are poured into its bottom in a thin layer. After it is poured with water of the required temperature, its volume depends on the plant.
- The liquid is changed daily, 4-5 times a day. The duration of the soak depends on the plant. When they are prone to rapid germination, they are kept for about 5 hours (peas, beans) or 12 hours (melons, cabbage, cucumbers, similar). Tomatoes, beets, similar - 24-36 hours Celery, parsnips, onions, carrots and others - about 48 hours.
- The soaked planting material is periodically gently mixed. It is permissible to dip them into liquid in gauze bags.
- When the seeds swell and the volume of the hatched will be over 1%, then they are removed and buried in a moistened substrate. But you can continue to germinate them in water, after waiting another 2-4 days, so that the seedlings appear earlier.
On a note! When sowing moistened seeds, their germination occurs faster by 2-3 days, the exact time depends on the type of plant.
Iron preparations
Among liquid mono-fertilizers of iron, for irrigation, the drug Oracle is widely used. Due to the saturation of the soil with iron, the oxidation-reduction processes are stabilized, the color of the foliage is restored, the nitrogen concentration for the growth of rhizomes is normalized, the number of amino acids is increased, the formation of chlorophyll is accelerated, photosynthesis is stimulated.
Iron deficiency is manifested by several factors: the plant slows down in growth and the color of the foliage becomes dull and loses color.
All plants are susceptible to a deficiency of the trace element, but tomatoes, potatoes, corn, cabbage and grapes suffer the most.Plants are especially susceptible to the manifestation of iron deficiency in calcareous soils, excessively fertilized with phosphorus fertilizers.
If there are symptoms of iron deficiency, it is recommended to carry out foliar feeding with the drug Oracle Bio Iron. It is advisable to do this within the first five days after the onset of symptoms, according to the instructions. The Oracle also contains sulfur, which is responsible for preventing the destruction of chloroplasts. The low concentration of nitrogen has a reducing effect on the roots.
When to feed and water indoor plants
It is necessary to apply fertilizers for crops during the active growing season. At this time, the growth of the root system and inflorescences is observed. Most of the house flowers are actively fed and watered in the spring and summer. However, there are other crops that need year-round fertilization. They develop throughout the year and bloom both in the warm season and in the cold.
Fertilizers for home flowers
Spring and summer periods are the time for active feeding and watering of all domestic crops. The beginning of wellness procedures falls in March, the end of dressings - at the beginning or mid-September. With autumn and winter procedures, things are more complicated. If the plant has stopped blooming and stopped growing, then preventive feeding is not needed. It is applied with a solution of 1 ml per liter of water, as a root watering of seedlings. One liter is used for five square meters of land. Even a single treatment with Biostim helps the seedlings quickly take root in a new place and become more resistant to diseases.
Epin
Processing helps to reduce the concentration of heavy metals and nitrates, increases resistance to disease, contributes to resistance to sudden changes in weather conditions. Accelerates the growth of seedlings, ripening of fruits, increases productivity.
One ampoule of Epin is diluted into five liters of water, the plants are sprayed immediately after the mixture is prepared. It will not work to enhance the effect with a higher concentration, the drug is effective in small doses, and excessive use can only harm.
With the help of Epin, the development of seeds is stimulated; for this, a soaking solution is prepared. Then you should not soak in potassium permanganate.
The drug is not toxic, it is not capable of harming human health - this is its main advantage.
Bioglobin
Growth stimulator Bioglobin, a complex action preparation with a natural composition, belongs to humates. Application stimulates plant growth at all stages, promotes increased resistance to adverse factors. The drug is not toxic.
It is based on a biomaterial - the placenta of cattle with a high concentration of enzymes and proteins. As a result of the action, all biochemical processes are accelerated.
Bioglobin is used in a spray solution, which is prepared according to the instructions.
Means for disinfection: soaking in peroxide and potassium permanganate
The risk of transmission of viral and bacterial infections with planting material is very high today, although large manufacturers are trying to solve this problem by various means. However, the more various treatments the planting material passes through, the lower its germination rate can be. Therefore, it is easier to independently carry out disinfection at home.
In this case, the means for soaking seeds at the first stage must have disinfectant properties. The most popular disinfectants are:
- hydrogen peroxide 3% - it is able to quickly and effectively kill all known viruses, bacteria and strains of fungi;
- 70 - 90% ethyl alcohol quickly destructively affects all types of microflora;
- potassium permanganate, in addition to disinfection, acts as a stimulant;
- a solution of furacilin and acetylsalicylic acid also helps to accelerate the growth of future plants;
- "Fitosporin" and "Fitoverm" mainly have the properties of protection against fungal infections, they can process tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, potatoes.
In order to soak the seeds in potassium permanganate, you will need to take a cloth bag or a piece of thick gauze, glassware, hot water and potassium permanganate. The algorithm of actions implies the following sequence:
- planting material is transferred to a gauze bag or between tissue;
- pour warm water into glassware and dissolve several crystals of potassium permanganate in it to obtain a rich red color;
- the temperature of the solution for this procedure should be at least 40 and not more than 45 degrees Celsius;
- exposure time at full immersion takes 15 - 20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the seed coat;
- after disinfection, rinsing is not necessary, but if desired, you can rinse with warm boiled water.
In a similar way, seeds are soaked in hydrogen peroxide 3%; it is sold in a pharmacy network without a doctor's prescription ready-made, it is not advisable to buy hydroperite tablets and prepare such solutions yourself, since you can easily make a mistake in the dosage. And too concentrated peroxide can kill all living things. The planting material will not germinate at all. In some sources, it is recommended to take a 10% solution for disinfection, but in no case should this be done. The risk of hitting the growth point will be very high. And a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution also has a sufficient level of disinfection, so there is no point in taking risks.
Note! It is not required to dry the seeds after the disinfectant soaking procedure. This procedure is only necessary if seeding into the ground will follow. With subsequent treatment with growth stimulants and germination, this should not be done, since repeated drying damages the genetic structure.
